Celebrate Juneteenth with Black Storytellers Alliance

Experience a lively performance featuring characters from African and African American folktales and the storytelling traditions of the African American community. Cohosted with St. Louis Park Community Education and St. Louis Park Parks and Recreation. Partner: Black Storytellers Alliance. Funded by Minnesota’s Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.

Summer Concert Series kickoff: SoulFlower
Veterans' Memorial Amphitheater, 3700 Monterey Drive
SoulFlower brings a blend of soul, dream pop, and alternative rock to this free outdoor Juneteenth concert. Their sound mixes delicate, raw energy with melodic, rhythmic layers that create an immersive experience. SoulFlower describes their music as a spontaneous, therapeutic practice that channels and releases emotion.

Rollin' @ the ROC: Juneteenth Skate
ROC, 3700 Monterey Drive
Celebrate Juneteenth with an evening of roller skating, music and community. Enjoy a live DJ, Bougie Waffle food truck, free roller-skating lessons from Twin Cities Skaters, and a performance by Wheels of Expression. Park 'N' Play will also be on-site. Admission and skate rentals are free.
