Mark your calendar for a Juneteenth celebration!

Along with shopping and food, the event will be MC’d by Andre McNeal and the celebration will include musical entertainment from The Lioness and Jovonta Patton. Imani Jackson, executive chef and owner of Chopped and Served, will give the keynote speech. This event is hosted by the City of St. Louis Park, St. Louis Park Community Education and St. Louis Park Parktacular.

Schedule of events:

• Noon – 4 p.m. DJ Trilogy, 40 black-owned businesses vendors and food vendors
• Noon – 12:15 p.m. Welcome MC Andre McNeal to the stage
• 12:15 – 12:30 p.m. Eighth-grader Grant sings The Black National Anthem “Lift Every Voice and Sing”
• 12:30 – 1 p.m. Keynote speech from Imani Jackson, executive chef and owner of Chopped & Served, and St. Louis Park alum
• 2 – 3 p.m. Headlining performance from The Lioness
•  3 – 4 p.m. Closing headliner performance from Jovonta Patton
