Your next election is the state primary on Aug. 9 to decide nominees for each major party for the state general election on Nov. 8. Ballots for the state primary elections will have columns, each representing one of the major parties. Voters can vote for candidates from one major party and cannot select candidates from more than one column on the ballot. St. Louis Park Public Schools will also have a special, non-partisan election on the August ballot. The election is two questions related to the approval of a capital project levy and the issuance of general obligation school building bonds.
Early (absentee) voting
Early voting for the state primary election begins on Friday, June 24. You can vote early in person at St. Louis Park City Hall, 5005 Minnetonka Blvd., Monday – Friday from 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
