Over the next few years, multiple natural land restoration projects will take place in St. Louis Park with the focus on buckthorn removal and replacement with native plant species. These projects will be in partnership with the nonprofit organization Great River Greening and partially funded by state grant dollars.
The properties that will be part of this round of grants are:
- Louisiana Oaks and Oak Hill parks (2021 – 2024)
- Westwood Hills Nature Center (2021 – 2024)
- Bass Lake Preserve (2021 – 2026)
