With the City of St. Louis Park’s new full-service tree planting option, residents can order discounted trees through Tree Trust, a local nonprofit, and work directly with them to have the tree planted at a discounted service rate. Higher discounts are available for properties located in Environmental Justice priority areas and for homes that recently lost an ash tree due to emerald ash borer (EAB).

A similar program is also available for business owners, who can hire any licensed landscaping company to plant up to three trees on their property, then apply to the Shade SLP cost share program to be partially reimbursed.
