If you’re interested in learning more about electric vehicles (EVs), plan to attend a free “ride and drive” event Thursday, Oct. 6, 5 – 7 p.m. at Lenox Community Center, 6715 Minnetonka Blvd., St. Louis Park. Electric vehicles offer a variety of benefits, including a lower total cost of ownership (especially factoring in coming federal tax credits for those who qualify); cleaner air in the community; and a smooth, quiet and powerful ride. This event is sponsored by the City of St. Louis Park in partnership with St. Louis Park Community Education and the American Lung Association of Minnesota.
Join us to:
- Test drive a variety of EV models, including from White Bear Mitsubishi, Polestar, GS Motors and more to be announced
- Talk to local EV owners about their experiences
- Learn about EV charging basics and available rebates
- Explore EV charging equipment, e-bikes and electric lawncare tools
