Winter parking restrictions start Jan. 20 on select city streets

Post Date:January 18, 2023 3:00 p.m.

Following the heavy snowfall in early January, city staff have been monitoring the condition of city streets to make sure they are accessible by emergency vehicles to ensure public safety. In addition to cleanup efforts, starting Jan. 20, some streets in the city will have parking restrictions allowing parking on only a single side of the street until further notice. This will help protect public safety by ensuring fire trucks and other emergency vehicles are able to access city streets.

View the winter parking restrictions map to find out which streets will have parking restrictions starting 8 a.m. Friday, Jan. 20, 2023. No parking signs will be posted on the side of the street parking is not allowed. Don’t park on the side of the street signed as no parking.

This parking restriction will remain in place while signs are posted. Vehicles that park on the side of the street posted with no parking signs may be ticketed and towed.

Note: If a snow emergency is declared during this time, on-street parking is not allowed on either side of the street, regardless of any signs posted.
