Limited income entrepreneurs are invited to an open house event to learn about a unique commercial space opportunity in the City of St. Louis Park. The St. Louis Park Economic Development Authority (EDA) is collaborating with Partnership in Property CLT (PIPCLT) on an initiative to create long-term, affordable commercial spaces to empower qualified, limited-income entrepreneurs providing them with a unique opportunity to build assets and generational wealth. The EDA recently purchased an 8,300-square-foot retail building located at 4300 36 1/2 St. with the intent of subdividing it into five to eight separate commercial units that could then be purchased by limited income entrepreneurs.
Open house guests will have an opportunity to tour the building, provide feedback on the proposed conceptual designs, and learn more about how to purchase one of the commercial units through the commercial land trust.
