Demolition for the former McGarvey Coffee site commenced Oct. 17, 2017. The site, which was purchased by the St. Louis Park EDA in 2015, will be developed into a mixed-use, mixed-income creative community with 299 dwelling units, a 100-room hotel, retail, and various other amenities. The proposed development will incorporate a mix of renewable energy sources and will include a mobility plan to lessen the traffic impact in the area.
