Update: The subject of this search was arrested Aug. 26, 2025, and is currently in the custody of the Hennepin County Sheriff.

On Aug. 21, 2025, at approximately 10:37 p.m., a St. Louis Park police officer patrolling the 2700 block of Louisiana Avenue recognized a subject wanted on a Hennepin County warrant for felony domestic assault with strangulation. The subject’s criminal history includes illegal firearms possession. When the officer attempted an arrest, the subject resisted and fled on foot to the east. A Taser was deployed during the attempted apprehension but was ineffective. The subject was pursued by officers into the Bronx Park neighborhood. A larger perimeter was established with the assistance of several neighboring agencies. Despite an extensive search using a drone, State Patrol helicopter and a K9 team, the subject wasn’t found. There were no known injuries from the event. This is an active and ongoing investigation of the St. Louis Park Police Department.
