In accordance with Minnesota’s State Statutes 244.052 and 244.253D, the St. Louis Park Police Department is releasing information regarding Willie Edd Reynolds, a Level 3 registered predatory offender, subject to public notification. Reynolds is living in the 2600 block of Xylon Avenue South in St. Louis Park.
A community notification information session is set for Thursday, Sept. 25, 2025, at 5:30 p.m. at Westwood Lutheran Church, 9001 Cedar Lake Road, St. Louis Park. Representatives from the Minnesota Department of Corrections and the St. Louis Park Police Department will be available to provide useful information about public safety and to answer questions.
This individual has served the sentence imposed on them by the court and is transitioning into the community. The St. Louis Park Police Department may not direct where this individual does or does not reside, works or goes to school. This notification is not intended to increase fear but rather raise awareness. Law enforcement believes that an informed public is a safer public.
Those convicted of sexual or predatory offenses have always been released to live in our communities. It was not until the passage of the Registration Act that law enforcement had an ability to track movement of these individuals after their initial release. With the passage of the Community Notification Act law enforcement may now share information about many of these individuals with the public. Abuse of this information to threaten, harass or intimidate a registered individual is unacceptable and such acts could be charged as a crime. Such abuses could potentially end the ability of law enforcement to provide these notifications.
St. Louis Park community members who are unable to attend the July 15 meeting and have questions may contact St. Louis Park Police Lt. Dennis Hagen at
