On October 16, 2025, at 2 p.m., St. Louis Park police responded to a reported burglary in progress in the 3600 block of Lynn Avenue. The initial report indicated that three unknown individuals had entered a residence, then fled as officers arrived. A perimeter was established in the area of Huntington Avenue and Excelsior Boulevard to ensure public safety and assist in the search. Further investigation revealed no burglary had occurred; the male individual seen entering the home was a family member of the residents. However, he was identified as a suspect with an active warrant for second degree aggravated robbery. When officers located the suspect, he fled on foot. After multiple warnings to stop and notification that a K9 would be deployed, a K9 was deployed and apprehended the suspect, who sustained minor injuries. The suspect’s injuries were treated, and he was taken into custody. Charges are pending. This is an active and ongoing investigation of the St. Louis Park Police Department.
