Update (March 17, 2026): While St. Louis Park police have located one of the vehicles involved in this incident, this continues to be an active investigation. Residents and businesses in the 6300 block of West Lake Street with security cameras are asked to review recordings from Friday, March 13, 2026, between 9:15 and 9:30 p.m. If recordings show the shooting and/or two dark‑colored SUVs traveling on West Lake Street toward Minnetonka Boulevard, and you are willing to share those recordings with the police department, contact St. Louis Park Police Investigator Heffernan at 952.924.2600. 

On March 13, 2026, at approximately 9:30 p.m., officers with the St. Louis Park Police Department responded to a report of a large fight in the 6300 block of West Lake Street. Upon arrival, officers learned that two vehicles had left the area traveling eastbound, and an exchange of gunfire reportedly occurred between the vehicles. Officers located shell casings in the area consistent with the report. At this time, no injured parties have been located. This incident remains under active investigation.
