Public skating

No hockey sticks, pucks, equipment or goals are allowed. Skating is available for all ages.

Indoor skating

Indoor public skating is available at The Rec Center, 3700 Monterey Drive.

Now – March 30, 2026, May 2 – June 5, 2026

Monday, Wednesday, Friday Noon – 1:30 p.m. (no skating March 31; April 2, 7, 9, 14 and 16) 
Saturday 11 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. (no skating Jan. 31, March 21, April 4)
Sunday 2 – 3:30 p.m. (no skating March 22, April 5)
  • Fees:
    •  Youth and senior: $4 per person OR $35 for 10 passes
    • Adult: $5 per person OR $40 for 10 passes
Outdoor skating

Outdoor public skating is available at ROC, 3700 Monterey Drive.

Friday 5:45 – 7:15 p.m.
Saturday 12:15 – 1:45 p.m. (no skating Feb. 14 and 21)
Sunday 12:15 – 1:45 p.m. (no skating Feb. 15 and 22)

Adult hockey is available at The Rec Center's indoor ice arena, 3700 Monterey Drive, for ages 16 and above. Schedule is subject to change. Call 952.924.2567 to confirm dates and times

ROC open pond hockey

Now – March 27, 2026

Open pond hockey is available at the ROC, 3700 Monterey Drive, for all ages.

Saturday, Sunday 11 a.m. – noon (no hockey Feb. 14, 15, 21 and 22)
  • Fee: free

The Rec Center Skate Shop

The skate shop is located in The Rec Center in between the west and east ice arenas. The shop has rental skates available during public skating sessions. Skate sharpening services may be available outside the below hours. Ask at The Rec Center front desk.

Saturday 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Sunday 2 – 4 p.m.
  • Skate sharpening is $5 per pair.
  • Skate rental is $3 per pair.

ROC warming house

The warming house is located inside The Rec Center by the ROC. The warming house has rental skates available during public skating lessons.

Saturday Noon – 2 p.m.
Sunday Noon – 2 p.m.
