A candidate for public office who receives contributions or makes disbursements of more than $750 in a calendar year must submit campaign financial reports to the city clerk according to the schedule outlined in Minnesota state laws on financial reports.
State law requires St. Louis Park to make these campaign finance reports available on the city website. Reports are available for four years from the date they are originally published. To view a report, please click on the appropriate link below.
Note: On May 19, 2026 the state legislature amended M.S. Chapter 211A to classify certain data on campaign finance reports as nonpublic data or private data on individuals. The legislature also directed local governments to remove from their website any reports or statements that contain private or nonpublic data. Prior to reposting any statement or report, the local government must redact or omit all private or nonpublic data. The city is working to redact reports to comply with the law and will have the information reposted within six months.
The city clerk’s office is not responsible for interpreting or enforcing campaign finance or practice laws. Complaints regarding campaign finance or practice violations are heard by the Minnesota Office of Administrative Hearings. Additional information is available at Minnesota Office of Administrative Hearings website.
