On Oct. 15, 2026, at approximately 1 p.m., St. Louis Park police officers responded to the 4400 block of Excelsior Boulevard on the report of a felony-level fraud investigation. On arrival, the suspect fled from officers on foot. A perimeter was established with assistance from Bloomington, Edina and Hopkins police departments and Hennepin County Sheriff's Office. An extensive search was conducted, but the suspect wasn’t located and is believed to have fled the area. There is no threat to the public.
