Regional bike trails
Regional bike trails, managed by the Three Rivers Park District, run through St. Louis Park. These trails connect to miles of additional trails in the metro area and western suburbs. For details about the regional trail system, visit Three Rivers Park District or call 763.559.9000.
Cedar Lake LRT Regional Trail
The 4.5 mile Cedar Lake LRT Regional Trail follows the former railroad lines of the Great Northern Railway and the Minneapolis and St. Louis Railway. It runs from downtown Minneapolis and connects to other popular bike and pedestrian trails in the city and western suburbs.
North Cedar Lake Regional Trail
Enjoy the best of both worlds with urban skyline views and woodland serenity on the North Cedar Lake Regional Trail. The 4.4-mile paved trail begins in Hopkins and passes through St. Louis Park before connecting to trails around Cedar Lake in Minneapolis.
Bike registration
The city recommends that all bike owners register their bike with a national bike registry. That way, if your bike is lost or stolen, members of the public or law enforcement can use a bike registry to help you get it back.
Bike Index, the largest bike registry in the country, is a free registry that the city recommends and has used in the past to help return bikes to their owners.
