City Code

The St. Louis Park City Code establishes rules and regulations that govern various aspects of life within the city. The city code is composed of ordinances, which are specific laws or regulations adopted by the city council to address particular issues. City ordinances regulate building codes, zoning, public health and safety, business licensing and more. The city code is published online as a convenience to residents and the business community. Although every effort is made to make sure materials published online are accurate, the official edition of the city code is maintained by the city clerk. The city council may have adopted amendments to the city code that have not yet been added to the online version. Use the links below to view the code.

Information related to zoning, property use and regulations within specific zoning districts can be found in Chapter 36. For questions related to zoning, call community development at 952.924.2575.

Questions related to building regulations may be directed to the building and energy department at 952.924.2588.
