The engineering department is responsible for construction of the city's infrastructure, including roads, bridges, sanitary sewer, storm sewer, watermain, sidewalks, trails and bikeways.
Engineering handles all aspects of capital improvement plan implementation from concept through construction. The work includes special studies, data analysis, survey, design, public involvement, permitting, construction observation and contract administration.
