Traffic updates

  • Louisiana Avenue (Fire Station #2 to Wayzata Blvd)- OPEN TO TRAFFIC

Construction project updates

  • The traffic signal at Louisiana Avenue and Wayzata Boulevard is operational.
  • The road-closed signs have been removed, and the road is open to traffic. 
  • Within the next month, the contractor will install the street lighting on Louisiana Avenue. 

MnDOT's I-394 project updates

  • The exit ramp from I-394 eastbound to Park Place Blvd is open to traffic.
  • The exit ramp from I-394 eastbound to Louisiana Avenue is open to traffic.
  • The entrance ramp from Louisiana Avenue to I-394 eastbound will remain closed through the winter and until September 2026.
  • Wayzata Boulevard is open to traffic through the winter. Impacts to traffic on Wayzata Boulevard will occur again in the spring/summer of 2026.
  • The traffic signal at Louisiana Avenue and I-394 eastbound ramps will not be operational over the winter. This intersection will be stop sign controlled.

This will be the last update for the 2025 construction season. More information will be shared about the 2026 construction work on Cedar Lake Road and Louisiana later this winter.
